Australia has qualified for the final four of the Wellington Sevens after a stunning 31-7 victory over Scotland in the quarter-finals this afternoon.
Queensland's Kacey Mitchell and Brumbies winger Tim Wright each scored a brace, while Blair Connor also continued his try scoring feats from day one.
Mitchell finished with a personal tally of 14 points as the Aussies stormed into the Cup Semi-finals for the first time since the 2006 Paris Sevens.
Australia now plays hosts, and tournament favorites, New Zealand in the first semi final at 4:35pm this afternoon (AEDT).
The second semi-final will see Samoa, who defeated Fiji in the quarter-finals, play Pacific neighbours Tonga.
